Juniper Stone Cottage Luxury stone cottage in Northern Dalmatia

This beautiful stone cottage is located in a small village in Northern Dalmatia, ideal for a peaceful and relaxed vacation.  You can isolate with your family and friends, away from crowds but you can also explore the area as little or as much as you like. 

Staying in the Juniper stone cottage is a special experience. Painstakingly refurbished,  original features have been exposed and new additions thoughtfully chosen to create a truly beautiful cottage with a sense of place.  We decided to open our doors to tourists last summer with only half of the capacity but this year we are at our full capacity and we can accommodated up to 15 guests.  

You will fall under its spell you will be tempted not to leave. Let the stresses of life slide away and curl up on the sumptuous outdoor seating areas and gaze at the views of idyllic scenery  – or sip champagne under the pergola , take tea under the shade of the mulberry tree – the choices are endless and you will want to return!

Whatever your favorite food or drink is, there is something for everyone. You can choose to visit the local organic winery with top quality wines for a unique wine tasting experience or you can have it delivered to your doorstep . The area of Northern Dalmatia, between the mountains and the sea, where our vineyards are located, is characterized by an ideal micro-climate, as well as extremely fertile land necessary for growing top quality grapes.  The area is surrounded with the juniper trees so why not spice your favorite drink of gin with fresh juniper berries if that's what you like.  There is also a local restaurant with over 100 years of tradition not far away if you would like to indulge in some of the local cuisine.  Enquire about anything that may be of your interest and your host will be happy to organize whatever is needed for you and unforgettable stay of you and your friends or/and family.  Even if you do not like leaving your secluded, beautiful spot you can have it all delivered for you or cooked in front of you. 

Your host will be on hand when needed to make your stay unforgettable.  You can harvest your own seasonable vegetables and collect your own eggs, laid daily by organically fed hens, if you like, which will be made available to you on request as well as any seasonal fruit and vegetable. 

Each October there is a big olive harvest season and we can organize an unforgettable olive picking experience for you together with the whole process of olive oil production.  Make sure you book your slot in time!
